It's about time!

No, we didn't have the baby yet... I mean that it's about time that we write a real post on our shiny blog. So, here is what's new with us:

We have had several opportunities to volunteer at the Rexburg temple open house which has been awesome. Kellen worked as a parking attendant at the stake center on a below freezing day... which wouldn't have been too bad if he hadn't forgotten a touque (or beanie for you Americans). We both got to be ushers inside the temple and had the awesome privilege of working on the floor with all of the endowment rooms. Erin was in the celestial room making sure people didn't steal the beautiful imported crystal and Kellen was the man on the radio calling for the elevator to come up when a wheel chair needed it. We got to see the two beautiful ordinance rooms, the celestial room, and then see the other parts of the temple. It is so wonderful to be able to participate in the opening of that beautiful and sacred building! We went through the open house with Chad, Adam, Lexie and some of their friends a few days later and see more of the temple.

The temple is such a peaceful and holy place. We are excited to be able to serve there and are very grateful that we were able to be sealed in the temple for all eternity. Life is not always perfect or easy, but it is comforting to know that we have each other and our children forever. Marriage there is not "until death do you part" and that is a wonderful thing!

Erin is ready for the baby to come. She's excited and we're both nervous about it. She's 2 weeks away from her due date and we're pretty sure the baby has dropped already. I'm not sure if you can always tell when the baby drops, but her belly looks a whole lot different than it did before. Anyway, we are excited about the wee baby. we are probably going to name him Cole Kellen Hansen...

Kellen is just working at Summarius and having a wonderful time there. He got some new sweet shoes for graduation from Mom LJ and didn't realize they are Ice bottoms... so he wiped out pretty good twice tonight...

Anyway, we're good, enjoying life and excited for the new wonderful addition to out family!
