Our Recent Comings and GOINGS

May 25th Gracelyn Hansen turned one years old!!! We had a little party at a park...A little Park Party.:)Haha
We had fun and Gracie definitely enjoyed the focused attention.
Here's our sweet birthday girl!!! I love this little gal!

We kept it simple with singing happy birthday, eating cake, and playing on the playground.

Cole and Ryan the only boys there kept it real with the soccer balls

Such cute girls!!

The week after we headed up to Canada! Kellen's Grandma's 80th birthday party was a party we weren't going to miss.
To give Kellen some alone time with his Comlex and USMLE study books, the kids and I braved this trip up north alone.
Ya....

We felt good about me going though, and the trip was a success. I don't want to do it again, but it was still a success!

Here we go...thankfully some friends offered their portable dvd player!
So, we did pretty good on the way up. The 12 1/2 hour drive turned into a 14 1/2 hour drive. Not bad I would say!

Stopping for breakfast:)

We stayed at my family's house this time around. We played outside lots! (and a little bit in the tent trailer) The kids loved playing with Auntie Tamara, Auntie Abby, and Charlie (the dog).

Grammy took Cole swimming..... Taber has a great indoor pool!

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa Hansen.

We went to Kellen's Grandma Hansen's birthday party, but I didn't take any pictures! Oh well. About 80 people came to her party and I was so glad that we got to be there too.

Yay for bubbles!

And then we had a lot of fun with Charlie the dog!! Toward the end of our trip, Gracie decided that she would kiss Charlie the way he kissed her-you can get a glimpse of the result of that in the picture where her mouth is open and Charlie is about to lick her tongue...Ya, eww is right.

Then it was time to go. Our trip back was a little harder after our week of playing (we were all a little tired!). Our lunch stop on the way was at an RV park. They had a life size chess set there? Why not! It was fun:)

Our stop. By the way, the whole drive was b-e-a-utiful! All of it pretty well looked like this. Lots of green trees, and rolling hills and mountains. Definitely a more exciting drive than Rexburg to Taber...only in that there weren't any parts that were flat and brown. We had lots of fun back in Canada EH?!

That does look beautiful. I know Steve is seriously jealous of all the green. We have green here, it's just really pokey:)
I can't believe how big your kids are getting. They are sooooo cute.

Way to go Erin! You are a brave woman! That looked like a fun trip to good ol' Taber. Your kids are just so darn cute! They are such good mixtures of you and Kellen. I hope we get to see you guys someday!!
