It's been a wonderful lazy Sunday. So nice to have Kellen home. We've started having 'quiet time' on Sundays. The kids get to choose either the play room or their room to stay in to have quiet time and me and Kellen take a nap, or plan out our week together, read, whatever. It's nice to have that down time and the kids seem like they are more calm on the Sundays we do this. Today they were especially quiet for an especially long time:
Oh Halloween candy.....I was so nervous about you this year for some reason...thinking of how bad you are for my kids' teeth and general health. But then, you came into our home and I remembered how much fun it is to dump you out, organize you, trade you, and then eat you. I couldn't say no to my kids enjoying your company.
We skyped Grandma and Grandpa. Always a fun time! And then we ended the day with putting Cole and Gracie to bed at 7:30pm daylight savings time, without realizing we hadn't changed our kitchen clock yet, so it was technically 6:30pm since we are no longer on daylight savings, haha. I'm sure it was good for them:) Oh, and since we had extra time Kellen and I watched Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. The best! I have felt a strange nostalgia for that show the last few Sundays.
