Our Christmas present to the kids (and ourselves) was to go to Crystal Mountain in Michigan. It's a ski resort, and although we didn't ski, we had so much fun! We wanted to be in the snow and mountains and in a cozy cabin with a fireplace, so that's what we did :)

Six hour drive......
and the last half looked like this. Except it was also dark. We took this picture on our way home - it looked the same. The windshield kept freezing over and Kellen just had a clear spot at the bottom of the windshield to look through. So this is what he looked like:
He drove slow and we were fine. It was quite pretty actually, and peaceful. We were the only ones on the road and everything is so still and quiet when snow is falling. I love it.

Kellen and I went cross-country skiing. Loved it. Forgot to get a picture of Kellen though. He looked sexy on his skis, sorry you missed that.

Eating out! Soooo good food..... this meal we had because it was free. The maintenance guy had to come in to our place to fix the water heater for the next door apartment. So that meant free food for us!
It had been a big day and Gracie was done.
Then we went home.
