We went to a golfcourse in Enumclaw that we randomly found! It was perfect!
The rest of the day I didn't do anything but play with my kids. I once had a goal to set aside an hour a day where I officially just play with Cole and Gracie. That goal was forgotten, but after today I remembered it again. I just love spending time with these two. I realized today how much I feel the importance of my role as a mom when I just focus on them without worrying about the other things I want to get done. I loved it!
And yes, that is pen on the arm of the couch. Lots of it.
This didn't occur on the particular "fun day" that I'm blogging about, but it was a fun day when we did it! We made pens! Wood pens with a friend from our ward. It was pretty dern awesome.

good goal! What are you going to write down with that fabulous pen? OR are you just going to use it to balance out the art on the other arm of your couch?
