Today me and the kids spontaneously drove to This is The Place monument and heritage park. It was so fun! We walked through the Brigham Young house, visited the candy store, rode the train, pet the animals, and visited the monument to the brave mormon pioneers who pushed and pulled their way to the valley. The valley that was a desert when they got there, and now the salt lake valley and area is so beautiful! We owe so much to these incredible men and women who gave us so much through their hard work and faithful service. I'm so thankful to these forefathers (and mothers:)!
