Sunday Sunday

Let me start out with saying that me and the kids would like a dog. Kellen would not. And so Kellen is kind enough to satisfy our dog-craves with letting us dog-sit for our friends! Hercules has been with us this last week and the kids have LOVED having him here. Bea regularly kisses and hugs Hercules and then hits and pulls his hair. He responds by licking her lips and letting her hug him, and then growling and nipping at her fingers when she hurts him. (All the while Kellen is stressing out at his aggression, while I am feeling confident that this experience of natural consequences is a good thing for her). Cole and Gracie play with him by running around the house together and playing catch. He's such a sweet little dog!

I got to take a very rare Sunday nap today. Yippee! It was glorious. I woke up to the kids inventing a new toilet paper game:) So inventive!

This one's from a few months ago, but Kellen has been teaching himself to play the piano. He sits down to it here and there when he can. I'm so proud of him! His Lavender's Blue is sounding just lovely:) Seriously though, I'm inspired by him. And I just love this picture.

Good for Kellen. I keep saying I'm going toothache myself the ukulele but I have yet to get either the ukulele or book out. And yes that last picture is adorable!
