Snow Colored Ponies and Crisp Apple Strudels....

So, I realized today that my body has been telling me lately that I need to rest more! The last two weeks by Thursday I have completely crashed, and been rendered useless-that's right, rendered useless! So, I've made a resolve to relax and make sure to have 'me' time every afternoon during Cole's nap. Thank goodness for naps! Anyway, I just wanted to share that. I'm 31 weeks now by the way!! Crazy. There is so much coming up so soon that I find myself thinking about all of that quite often. This weekend I'm going to Canada, next week we're going to Seattle to look for housing, then we have some down time, then the baby comes about June 1st, then we move to Seattle July 13thish. That's just a lot and I feel really up in the air still about living in Seattle-probably because we don't know where we're living yet! Go figure. We've never even been to Seattle, so this will be good to go in a couple weeks. Bah! I'm just anxious for all the changes to get here.

O.k., from thoughts to our recent comings and goings. It seems like I haven't posted things we've been doing lately so here is a spattering of them from this last month. And I'm realizing as I'm uploading the pictures that we have done quite a bit! Just one thought on that: I'm so grateful for a husband who willingly makes time for his family.

Cole and I went to Payson, AZ last month with some friends. It was foresty and a nice getaway for both of us.

We've gone a few hikes lately too. Lost Dutchman State Park has some cool hikes and good views, and the picture on the left is at Papago Park. We love all the hiking that's around here! And thankfully I can still go!

We've also been going to a few games lately which Kellen has been able to get at cheap prices because of his excellent trading and searching. He's traded basketball cards for tickets, and he's found good prices on craigslist and who knows where else.....we went to a NHL game- and got a picture of Wayne Gretzky! (from really far away). We also went to a Sun's game and a Cubs spring training game.

While we were at the spring training game Cole was distracted by a lady's camera behind us, so she went ahead and took a few pictures of him! We thought they turned out pretty cute too.

Cole and I have already been swimming! The water was freezing though, so we didn't get very far in, so maybe that doesn't count:) It was fun though!
Cole loves to put on necklaces, talk on the phone, play in baskets, and to help me! Monday through Thursday a friend and I go walking in the morning to keep us both in good pregnancy shape (Ashlee is a month behind me and Cole and Eldon are only one day apart in age). So, the bottom picture is of Cole and his walking buddy Eldon.

And now to show our stalker sides.....Kellen and I have a few pictures of other people's houses that somehow inspire us in the creation of our future home. So, we really hope none of these people have looked out and saw us taking pictures of their home! We do it discreetly..... The other day we went for a drive and came upon the most perfect house we've seen! It was just quaint and inviting, and the front yard is full of beautiful flowers and bushes and we want our house to look like that someday so we took a picture! Not the best picture, but I thought I'd still share:)

It looks like you guys are having a blast in Arizona...Landon and I are a little jealous that you guys have gotten to go to some Suns games, we love them! I think you guys will Love Seattle! I grew up in Washington and absolutely loved it, it just takes a little while to get used to the rain but its so beautiful and there is a lot to do there. Good luck finding a house!

Wow, you guys have been up to a lot! To bad Mark and Kellen's test schedules are opposite. It makes it hard to get together. Good luck with your trip to Seattle and I LOVE the picture of the yellow house. Like really love it - we might have identical looking houses in 20 years.. :) You ok with that?

I loved this post! You guys have been busy but it sounds like it has all been a lot of fun.

I completely understand how you feel about moving! I am so nervous too but hopefully that will subside after we actually visit Seattle. Where are you guys staying when you go up there? We should get together for dinner while we are all there! We have to stick together- it will make the transition so much easier!!!

What a cutie pie!!! He is a doll.

Kellen asked me on facebook if I thought my parents would let you guys stay at their house. I don't see why not. You might even want to ask Scott...it might be a little more fun for you guys. :) I would contact him and see what he thinks. He is around my parents a lot. :) Good luck guys with the move!
